Flexibility is the key design principle governing the design of the Gering Lopez Gallery, a 3000 square foot exhibition space located on 57th Street in New York City. The L-shaped floor plan can be easily reconfigured and subdivided to suit the particular installation requirements of the gallery’s stable of contemporary artists whose work encompasses a wide range of scales and mediums, from painting and photography to new media (video and digital art).
Pristine walls and a white glass reception desk contrast with the raw concrete floor and ceiling, lending this midtown gallery a downtown feel.
